StarCraft returns as a shooter
And what better way than to provide exclusive details about Blizzard that he has learned through extensive research over the past few years. In an interview with IGN, Jason Schreier revealed that Blizzard is planning to release a StarCraft game.
So the popular brand may be back soon, but in a different form than many had hoped. According to Schreier, the project is being led by Dan Hay at Blizzard, which is best known for Far Cry. But the source did not provide any other details.
By the way, this isn't the first time Blizzard has considered this move; There was already an announcement with StarCraft Ghost in 2002. However, the game was paused in 2006 and later discontinued. It was a third-person shooter.
