Bird & Bird has appointed Helder Santos as its new head of legal technology and innovation

International law firm Bird & Bird has appointed technology expert Helder Santos as its new international head of legal technology and innovation in Frankfurt.

Helder Santos has extensive experience in implementing digital transformation projects and has significant experience working with various teams and training groups internationally. From the Frankfurt office, he will provide the company with significant support in driving current and future LegalTech solutions for the international Bird & Bird network. He will work closely with the company’s international leadership team, including Frankfurt-based partner, global executive committee member and technology and data expert Sven-Erik Heun.

The appointment of Helder Santos is part of Bird & Bird’s strategic direction to further expand the company’s expertise in providing technology-enabled advisory solutions and improve client service. Helder Santos comes from KPMG Law, where he was Head of LegalTech Solutions. Prior to that, he led the IT and digital team at CMS.
