BenQ offers two laser projectors for gamers. Both devices project 4K HDR content at 3,200 ANSI lumens onto the living room wall for an immersive experience.
BenQ offers two gaming laser projectors, the TK710 and TK710STi. Both devices project images onto the wall in the home with 3,200 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 600,000:1. As the manufacturer writes, about 8.3 million pixels enable an immersive 4K HDR experience on a screen up to 300 inches (7.62 m).
Both projectors have game modes for FPS (First Person Shooter) and RPG (Role Playing Games) as well as extended HDR-FPS and HDR-RPG modes. With an input lag of four milliseconds at 240Hz (1080p) and 16 milliseconds at 60Hz (4K), gaming monitors ensure excellent image quality, according to BenQ.
It goes on to say that the projector duo differs only in the projection optics. The TK710's 1.3x zoom lens is suitable for viewing distances of 2.5 to 5 meters for 100 to 150 inches (254 to 381 cm) diagonal images, while the TK710STi's 1.2x zoom lens is suitable for wide viewing distances. Only 100 to 150 inches requires a projection distance of 1.5 to 2.8 metres.
Both projectors offer universal HDMI 2.0b connectivity for connecting PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, or Xbox Series
Both displays have two HDMI (2.0b) ports and a USB port so they can connect existing gaming consoles Playstation 5, Xbox Series eARC also allows 7.1-channel and Dolby Atmos audio signals to be transmitted via an HDMI cable to audio systems when connecting Blu-ray players or sound bars.
The two projectors are available at CHF 1,499 (TK710) and CHF 1,799 (TK710STi) (RRP).
In February 2024, BenQ introduced the X300G short-throw projector, also suitable for small rooms. You can read more about the X300G 4k 240Hz projector here.
