World of Warships is a massively multiplayer online action game about warships. Players control fleet units From the first half of the 20th century, compete against other players in strategic naval battles. There are many different ship classes to choose from, including destroyers, cruisers, battleships, and aircraft carriers, all of which require different playstyles. Players can upgrade their ships, unlock new ones, and perform tactical maneuvers in group battles to sink their opponents.

World of Warships is free to play and is funded through in-game purchases. Players can not only get upgrades or entire warships, but they can also buy them for money. The Albany Starter Pack, currently available for free from Epic, makes it easier for new players to get started — and existing players have the opportunity to expand their fleet a bit.
With the Starter Pack, players get the Tier 2 premium ship Albany with a dock in the harbor and can earn various rewards by completing 15 battles – including one of four warships. The DLC usually costs €22.50. However, if the Albany is already in port, there will be no additional rewards with the DLC.
