ASUS Gaming: ROG Flow X16 and ROG Flow Z13 are available in Germany

At CES 2023, ASUS introduced the ROG Flow X16, a lightweight gaming laptop, and the ROG Flow Z13, a 13-inch detachable gaming rig. The new models are now available in Germany.

ROG Flow X16 Notebook PC has touch and stylus support in tablet mode. For this purpose, it relies on the 360-degree flip design. The notebook wants to combine work and games in one device. So, the Flow X16 features an Intel Core i9-13900H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 laptop GPU, among other things. The device can be optioned with up to 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD with up to 2TB of capacity. This Pantone-validated Nebula HDR Mini LED display features a QHD resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, and a 16:10 aspect ratio.

ASUS limits battery life at up to 10 hours. In addition, the Flow X16 comes with HDMI 2.1, USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 over Type-C connectivity.

ROG Flow Z13 has been touted by ASUS as the world’s fastest gaming detachable. For this purpose, the manufacturer also supplies the device with a thirteenth generation Intel Core processor, specifiable up to i9-13900H. In addition, ASUS also accommodates an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 laptop GPU in a 13-inch case. The Flow Z13 is 12mm thick and should weigh just 1.1kg.

The device is equipped with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. ASUS promises adequate cooling of the device using liquid metal and a vapor chamber. The QHD panel can handle 165Hz and is said to have 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage. The Gorilla Glass DXC touchscreen is said to be scratch resistant, which makes the Flow Z13 particularly robust. The device also has a detachable 15-inch full-size RGB keyboard.

Both devices are now available from ASUS itself or from well-known mail-order companies.
