Apple could use its advanced eye tracking feature Metaquest Pro track them down or even outrun them with their own techniques. A published patent from the successful Cupertino company describes how this functionality will be implemented in the future Apple Glass and the first Reality Pro headset based on xReality.

Apple has also realized how important this technology will be for its upcoming smart glasses. The latest Apple patent gives us a visual interpretation of the eye tracking system and methodology in different fields.

They are then paired with another device in the form of an iPad or Mac, which acts as a separate display and network interface. In this way, those virtual scenes recorded with the glasses can be played back on the screen.
Exciting applications of this patent include games where immersive content can be controlled with just the user’s gaze. Also, in marketing, it can be important to measure user behavior based on the area or things the person is looking at. Most importantly, it will be used in science and medicine in diagnosing disorders or diseases.

Apart from these apps, Apple can enhance the xReality OS experience by pairing smart glasses with accessories such as a smart ring or a handheld controller, similar to Google Glass 2 rumored. Unfortunately, we still have to be patient for a while until we see the technologies in practice.
Apple is expected to launch its first business next year Reality ProA headset to enter the AR / VR space. This will be followed by standalone smart AR glasses. Names and final pricing are yet to be confirmed, but both will run on the Apple XR operating system.
