Apple announced the transition of the position of the company's chief financial officer
Cupertino, California Apple today announced that Luca Maestri, Apple’s Chief Financial Officer, will transition from his role effective January 1, 2025. Maestri will continue to lead the Enterprise Services teams, including Information Systems and Technology, Information Security, and Real Estate and Development, and will report to Apple CEO Tim Cook. As part of the planned succession, Kevan Parikh, Apple’s vice president of Financial Planning and Analysis, will become CFO and join the executive team.
“Luca has been an exceptional long-term partner in managing Apple,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “He has been instrumental in improving and driving the company’s financial performance, engaging with shareholders, and instilling financial discipline in every part of Apple. We are fortunate to continue to benefit from the leadership and insight that have been the hallmark of his tenure at the company.”

During his tenure as CFO, Maestri enabled core investments and exercised strong financial discipline, helping the company more than double its revenue, with services revenue growing more than fivefold.

Parikh has been with Apple for 11 years and currently leads financial planning and analysis, general management and finance, investor relations, and market research. Prior to this role, Parikh led global sales, retail, and financial marketing. He began his tenure leading financial support for Apple’s product marketing, online sales and services, and engineering teams.
Prior to joining Apple, Parikh held various senior leadership positions at Thomson Reuters and General Motors, where he also gained extensive global experience. Parikh is an electrical engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
