AOC is expanding its G4 series with four more models. In addition to the 68.6 cm (27-inch) curved monitors AOC GAMING C27G4ZXU and CQ27G4X and the larger 80 cm (31.5-inch) model AOC GAMING CQ32G4VE, the new lineup also includes a 68.6 cm (27-inch) flat monitor Q27G4XF.
The AOC GAMING C27G4ZXU leads the way with a 280Hz refresh rate on its 27-inch curved Fast VA panel. The Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) display offers a 1,500R curvature and a response time of up to 1ms GtG and 0.3ms MPRT. With a 4000:1 contrast ratio and 300 nits of brightness, it also wants to be able to deliver vivid images and deep blacks. There are also built-in speakers and a four-port USB 3.2 hub for easy connection of gaming peripherals.
For users who prefer higher resolutions, the 27-inch AOC GAMING CQ27G4X and 31.5-inch AOC GAMING CQ32G4VE with curved Fast VA (1500R) panels with QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution are suitable. There’s also a contrast ratio of 4000:1 (CQ27G4X) or 3500:1 and a brightness of 300 nits. The monitors also have a refresh rate of 180Hz, a GtG response time of 1ms and an MPRT of 0.5ms.
The new offering is completed by the AOC GAMING Q27G4XF 27-inch monitor with Fast IPS panel and QHD resolution. It combines a 180Hz refresh rate with a response time of 1ms (GtG) and 0.5ms (MPRT). The brightness of 300 nits and HDR10 compatibility ensure vibrant colors and a dynamic gaming experience.
All models in the G4 series are also equipped with a number of features specifically designed for gamers: MBR (Motion Blur Reduction) syncs the backlight with the refresh rate to reduce noticeable blur. Low Input Lag aims to ensure the display responds instantly to user actions. On the other hand, Dynamic Hotspot provides a customizable crosshair overlay that can change the color on the background to remain more visible. Shadow Control allows gamers to adjust highlights and shadows for optimal visibility in all gaming scenarios. Additionally, all models support AOC’s proprietary G-Menu software, which allows for easy adjustment of OSD settings directly from the desktop.
All four new models in the G4 series support Adaptive Sync technology, which aims to ensure smooth, lag-free gaming on a variety of graphics cards. The Q27G4XF goes even further with NVIDIA G-SYNC Certified Compatibility.
The new AOC GAMING G4 series monitors will hit shelves in September 2024 and will be available at the following prices (all recommended retail prices):
