The January 2024 Monthly Software Update, which began rolling out to Google Pixel devices running Android 14 on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, brings monthly security updates as well as several new unofficial features.
Most of the new features are utility features, but new utility features have been discovered as well. This is an improvement to the Media Player UI that displays in Quick Settings when playing videos or songs.
The Media Player in Quick Settings with improved user interface not only displays information about the video or song being played, but also allows simple operations such as play/pause and volume control.
