Alchemical adventures and experimental explorations await today’s release of The Serpent Rogue

Team17 and Sengi Games today released Serpent Rogue which is an alchemy sandbox adventure game for PC, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X | S. As the mysterious protagonist, The Warden, players must explore the world, crafting and using vital potions to rid the world of the insidious corruption known as Serpent Rogue and restore balance to the lands around Mount Morbus.

Alchemy is one of the most important components in the gameplay of The Serpent Rogue, and mastery of it will be crucial to The Warden’s success. Collect and research ingredients to discover their uses, experiment with different combinations to create unique potions, and use drinks in different ways to progress in an ever-changing world.

Serpent Villain allows players to overcome challenges in several ways: defeat opponents directly in open combat, through well-suited chemical potions, or by befriending and taming local monsters. Each step of The Warden’s journey brings challenges and decisions that resonate around the world. For example, leaving food nearby will attract insects and cause chaos, while unburied corpses will attract terrifying spirits – so be careful.
