Los Angeles (CAPC) – Authorities confirmed Wednesday that Julian Sands, a British actor who has appeared in dozens of films and TV shows since the 1980s, is one of two missing hikers currently being searched for in the mountains of Southern California.

The sand has disappeared since last week in the Jebel Baldi area. His family reported him missing on Friday evening.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, severe weather on the mountain was difficult and air resources were limited.

Sands is known for her roles in several films, including the 1985 film ‘A Room with a View’, ‘Warlock’ and ‘Leaving Las Vegas’.

The 65-year-old was born in England and now lives in the North Hollywood area.

Meanwhile, a separate search is underway for another Los Angeles County park.

The family reported that Bob Gregory, of Hawthorne, went missing Monday afternoon. According to Los Angeles County’s San Dimas station, they were searching for him in the Crystal Lake area in the San Gabriel Mountains.

The family says they are distraught and afraid that he might hurt himself and fall. They added that the police are tracking his cell phone.

Search teams combed the area on the ground and from the air on Tuesday. However, authorities said those efforts on Wednesday were limited to aircrews only because of the icy conditions over the difficult terrain.
