MSI introduces the next generation of AI gaming desktops – hardware

MSI unveils a new series of AI-enabled gaming desktops powered by all-new Intel Arrow Lake S processors. The series includes two advanced models: MPG Infinite X3 AI and MEG Vision

Powerful combination of Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processors and GeForce RTX™ 4090 graphics

These new desktops feature Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processors with 8 P-cores, 16 E-cores, and an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with 13 Tera operations per second (TOPS). Combined with GeForce RTX™ 4090 graphics, the systems achieve an impressive total capacity of over 1,300 TOPS. Using this technical equipment, the devices can solve difficult AI tasks effortlessly while ensuring amazing gaming performance.

The integrated NPU significantly increases processing power for AI-related tasks in particular. In applications like DIGIME, it increases the efficiency of AI inference while reducing GPU load. This optimization not only improves performance in specific applications, but also reduces the overall computation time in AI programs.

What is DiGim?

DIGIME is a virtual live streaming software developed by MSI and Red Pill Lab and publicly demonstrated for the first time at COMPUTEX 2024. The software uses artificial intelligence for real-time motion capture and voice recognition, bringing virtual avatars to life in live streaming environments. DIGIME mirrors users' movements and synchronizes lip movements in real time.

The official launch is scheduled for December 2024.

AI-powered cooling systems

MSI's new gaming desktops offer AI-driven solutions for cooling and networking. Silent Storm Cooling AI uses independent air chambers for each component and uses advanced algorithms to optimize fan speeds. This system ensures effective heat dissipation even under full load.

MSI also relies on Intel® Killer™ technology powered by AI. This feature is integrated into MSI Lan Manager and improves network performance by prioritizing gaming traffic.

MSI has equipped the MEG Vision This system features a 13.3-inch touchscreen that serves as a private, cloud-based AI assistant, as well as a second display.

Support ATX 3.1 power standard

Other useful features include an additional 8-pin PCIe power connector, which ensures stable and sustained GPU performance during power-hungry AI computing tasks. The devices also support the ATX 3.1 power standard, which enables up to 2.5 times higher peak current. With the help of this technology, MSI ensures that powerful GPUs are used efficiently for gaming sessions and AI applications.
