EA is slowly moving on the offensive for the new Battlefield, which has been rumored to be a fresh start for over a year. The developers themselves revealed in the summer of 2023 that they wanted to “completely reinterpret” Battlefield.

The new battlefield begins in 2025.
The new Battlefield will have a very popular “modern” setting, as EA is doing away with the 128-player battles and the specialist system, and it's now about creating a good, intense, and very well-designed Battlefield for the masses.
Final details about the new Battlefield won't be available until 2025 and then the first players will have a chance to see it. So it seems unclear whether Battlefield will also launch as a final release in 2025 or if it's just a beta release.
