Nintendo has released three Game Boy Advance games, previously only available in Japan, for the Nintendo Switch Online service (Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack). The three Densetsu no Starfy (“The Legend of Starfy”) games are now officially playable in the West for the first time. As seen in Nintendo’s official announcement video, the games will remain in Japanese and will not be localized.
Developed by Kyoto-based studio Tose, Densetsu no Starfy is a colorful platformer in which the player controls the prince of the Pufftop Kingdom, a “golden-hearted (and somewhat clumsy) hero” and frequent explorers of the water.
