Via a live stream during TwitchCon 2023, Alienware announced two new QD-OLED gaming displays. It is said to have been developed keeping in mind OLED quantum dot technology and will debut in January 2024. However, the exact specifications are still missing.
Alienware has announced two new QD-OLED gaming monitors with a live stream during TwitchCon 2023. The AW3225QF is said to be the world’s first 4K QD-OLED monitor, while the AW2725DF is touted as the world’s first 360Hz QD-OLED monitor. Both displays are designed with quantum dot OLED technology in mind and are scheduled to launch in early January 2024. However, the exact specifications and pricing of the new devices are not yet known.
Alienware is doubling the number of its QD-OLED gaming monitors
The first screen is the curved AW3225QF with 4K resolution and 3840 x 2160 pixels. The 32-inch device offers a 240Hz refresh rate. The monitor is also equipped with AMD Freesync Premium technology, which should ensure tear-free gaming. The manufacturer also offers a three-year warranty against image content burn-in for the AW3225QF.
The second device is the Alienware AW2725DF, which is described as “the world’s first 360Hz QD-OLED design.” The screen is flat and offers a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The 27-inch display has a high refresh rate of 360Hz, making it a favorite for eSports. Alienware also offers a three-year burn-in warranty for this model.
Alienware recently released the 24.5-inch AW2524HF monitor, which is equipped with an IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device offers a refresh rate of 480 Hz (native) and up to 500 Hz (overclocked). Here too, the manufacturer is targeting competitive gamers who compete in fast-paced shooting games.
