The Lux Nova Duo with the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn and conductor Eddie Mora masterfully play new repertoire in an unusual line-up.
A new repertoire with an extraordinary cast: works of recent years, by Latin American and German composers for world musical instruments guitar and accordion with orchestra. This presents the new album by Lux Nova Duo. The duo, guitarist Jorge Paz Verastegui and accordionist Lydia Schmidl, collaborated for the production with conductor and composer Eddie Mora and the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn. Mora composed a concert for the project, in which the soloists and the group balls gallantly throw balls to each other. Also included are two works by Leo Brouwer, as well as pieces by Hamburg composers Sascha Lino Lemke and Hector Docx. In these different situations Lux Nova Duo can show its versatility, in intimate dialogues, fusions, in concert and in relation to the orchestra. Orchestrator Eddie Mora keeps everything in the right balance.
