Note that this method will reset all network settings. Other settings such as WiFi settings, Bluetooth settings, and hotspots will also be restored to default. So don’t forget to re-add these settings after following these steps.
Solution 2: Force restart iPhone to fix photos not emailed
If it is a network related issue, a network reset may fix it. However, if you are still unable to email photos from your iPhone, you may want to try other options.
In most cases, a forced restart may fix the problem. Learn how to force restart your iPhone, as it is different from a normal restart.
For iPhone 8 and up:
1: Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
2: Quickly press and release the Volume Down button.
3: Quickly press and hold the Power button until the Apple logo appears.
For iPhone 7 and 7 Plus:
1: If you cannot email photos from your iPhone 7, press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button at the same time.
2: Press and hold both buttons for 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
For iPhone 6S, SE, or earlier:
1: Press and hold the Home button and the Power button at the same time.
2: Release the button until the Apple logo appears. Then the device will restart.
Solution 3: Remove and re-add your email account
In most cases, the previous two methods will solve the problem. The question is “Why can’t I email photos from my iPhone?” But sometimes the Mail app still won’t send pictures.
If the problem persists, the next thing to try is to delete your account and sign in again. This method is very easy, just go to Settings > Mail > Accounts, temporarily sign out of the Mail app, and then sign back in. This is the third option, and I hope the Mail app will start working again at this point.
Solution 4: Repair iOS
Sometimes the problem of unable to email photos on iPhone is due to system failure. In this case, the general solution cannot completely solve the problem. A forced restart may fix the problem temporarily, but the problem may reappear after a while. The ultimate solution is to use an iOS system repair software to fix iOS issues.
