From Software has announced its first DLC for the Elden Ring. The reveal came as a surprise, shortly after the livestream to celebrate the game’s first anniversary.
TOKYO – A year ago, the gaming scene was shaken up when From Software dropped its open world spinoff, the Elden Ring. Shortly after the giant role-playing game’s first anniversary, From Software is preparing for its second coup. After fans have been craving new content for the Elden Ring, the developer studio has announced the first DLC for the Elden Ring to coincide with his birthday. We’ll show you what we know so far.

Elden Ring: First DLC Revealed – ‘Shadow of the Erdtree’ should be coming to consoles and PC
This is known about the DLC: The first official confirmation of the Elden Ring DLC came on the Japanese Elden Ring website. The name is already known there, the extension should be called “Shadow of the Erdtree”. The same site also states that the DLC will come to all versions of the Elden Ring on PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox.

When is the DLC released? Unfortunately, there is no additional information on the Elden Ring website, and so far only confirmation is known about the DLC and platforms. However, the text says that more details on the DLC will follow in the near future. So keep your eyes peeled, you can find out more in the coming months.

Also included in the same article is the initial artwork for Shadows of the Erdtree. Not many specific things can be seen in it, except for a destroyed Earth Tree in the distance and a person on a spectral horse (probably Mikaela on the torrent). However, the small transparent tombstones could refer to the “graves of the gods”, which should already appear in Dark Souls 3.
