Summary

Benchmark results at 1080p showed that the following 17 titles performed better with E-Core disabled.

Of the other 36 titles, 32 had a higher frame rate with E-Core enabled, and 4 did not change depending on whether it was enabled or disabled.

Although there are gaming titles that benefit from having E-Core disabled, most titles run better with E-Core enabled.

Basically, leaving E-Core enabled is fine, but if you want a bit more frame rate gain for a specific title that would be beneficial to disable it, you might want to disable it.
