“Soon, hit another one on the lid.” This sentence is a very compact summary of what we actually do in “Dice Throne”. We received four of the many squares from seasons one and two of the German version of the test and did just that. Find out here how (beware of unreasonable puns) we “beat” each other.
Grimspire kindly provide us “Dice Throne Season 1 + 2” for review.
This has no bearing on our rating!
Compact and fast
In the German version of Grimspire, “Dice Throne” is always delivered in small boxes, each containing a fight. This means: There are two heroes in each chest and they allow two people to play.
The structure of the rules is easy to do and understand. The plastic trays open and arrange the character’s toy item at lightning speed.
The announced slaps are then distributed using dice. Similar to “Kniffel”, different combinations of symbols must be achieved in order to launch different attacks, but defense is also possible in this way. Heroes are slightly different in that they have different special abilities and ultimate attacks. The list on the relevant character sheet helps answer the most frequently asked questions.
As soon as one of the characters’ life points drops to 0, the game ends and it becomes clear who lost. In a game with several players, of course, the game continues.
