However, this is only a small help for pre-orders. They have to wait a long time for their devices. New customers still have to be patient, not everyone who is interested will be able to keep Steam Deck in their hands this year. Even those who took part in the pre-order campaign relatively quickly and are still waiting, can now be pushed back until the next quarter.

Steam Deck was officially released on February 25 (Steam Deck release). However, not all the pre-ordered devices have been delivered yet. Valve wants to bring new margins to people every week. So it is likely that everyone who pre-booked for €4 will have only taken a place in a long queue. There are those who suggest that the number of devices per week that can actually be charged is in the thousands – not in the millions.

There you will find a date within your pre-ordered copy. On this day you can expect to receive an email to confirm your order. Once the checkout process is done, you should get your Steam Deck (really) shortly thereafter. We keep our fingers crossed.
