On Lenovo's official website, the ThinkPad E14 Gen 6 equipped with Ryzen 7 7735HS / 32GB memory / 1TB SSD is sold for 128,700 yen.

You might think, “It's not that cheap, is it?”, but since it's a ThinkPad with a “high-performance Ryzen 7 7735HS” and “equipped with 32GB of memory,” those who know it will think, “It's weird.” You should know that it's a good deal. Usually, it costs more than 150,000 yen, and depending on the manufacturer, it can cost more than 200,000 yen.

When I say ThinkPad, I don't mean the X1 Carbon or anything like that, I mean the E-series, which is a lower-priced version. However, the quality of the latest E-series has improved greatly, and is no longer as cheap as it used to be. Please note that the Japanese design has changed slightly from the previous model (5th generation). Previously, the stroke was deep and there was no disturbance in the arrangement, but the stroke has become shallower (about 1.5mm) and the area around the Enter key is a little narrow now. The keyboard has been the most similar to the ThinkPad among recent models, so this change is disappointing.

Until Gen4, it was a regular layout, but from Gen5 onwards, a narrow layout around the Enter key was adopted, like the X1 Carbon.

However, it's definitely a good deal if you take the specifications into consideration. You can also use Parts Customization to create the desired configuration. The screen is not very good, especially in the initial configuration, so we recommend changing to a high-resolution, high-resolution panel.
