One of the rumors that accompanies the months before the iPhone’s launch looks like it has finally been confirmed for the 2017 model. Fast charging will reach the Apple flagship this year, confirming rumor started in February. Recalling that in April, the CEO of Powermat even stated that the wireless charging on the iPhone 8 is announced as standard. Now, The Next Web site has confirmed another industry representative who has agreed to have his name disclosed. RAVPower general manager Allen Fung has received information that the iPhone 8 will support wireless chargers.
New rumors claim that the next iPhones will have a special wireless charging technology that we have in this charger. The wireless charger will charge the next iPhones at full speed, just as they can charge other mobile devices without the use of wires.
There have been rumors that the iPhone would be recharged without even needing to make contact with the base of a charging device, but it seems that will not be the case. At least Apple will be able to match the technology present in one of the main competitors of its smartphone, Galaxy S8.
Although Qualcomm has already presented a solution for the wireless charging of metallic-finished devices, Apple should even opt for the rear glass, which is a better driver for wireless charging.
And, it seems, the other models, considered mere upgrades of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, will also come with support for wireless charging.
After the launch event of the Galaxy Note 8, which impressed many fans of the brand around the world with their innovations, now we are waiting for the next major release of the year: the iPhone 8.
Apple’s top-of-the-line smartphone, which will come as a sort of tribute to the iPhone’s 10-year existence, is one of the most anticipated models of the year – and proof of that are the numerous rumors and leaks it has staged.
Already we knew that it would be announced around September, but one of a recent publication seems to point to a specific date: 12/09.
According to the reports, this information was passed by people connected to the country’s mobile operators, and if true, we will know the new device on a Tuesday.
