Revealed by recent rumors, the Meizu M6 Note should be announced on August 23, the same date as the Galaxy Note 8 release. All the attention will be focused on the launch of South Korea, but it might be worth keeping an eye on the Meizu model.
Apparently, the M6 Note will come with its own dual camera – just like Note 8 – but certainly for a lower price. Thus, the efforts of the manufacturer are evident in trying to obfuscate the brightness of the competitor.
A supposed unit of the apparatus with the removed back cover was photographed, revealing the two camera modules, one above the other along the central axis of the device. It is also possible to see a quad flash LED, different from what was presented in Meizu E2.
The battery is also exposed, but it is not possible to determine its capacity. According to leakage specs of this device, it would have 4,000mAh to keep everything running.
This should be yet another release that will attempt to compete with the dual-camera setup options at a more affordable price. We will have to wait to know how much it will cost. Until then, recall the specs reported in previous leaks:
- 5-inch screen with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080)
- MediaTek Helio P20 chipset with eight processing cores
- Mali-T880 GPU
- 3GB / 4GB of RAM
- 32 GB / 64 GB internal storage
- MicroSD card slot
- 13 megapixel main camera
- Fingerprint reader
- 4,000 mAh battery
- Android 7 Nougat
In separate rumors last week, Meizu may choose to use a weaker chipset, in this case the Helio P20. The rumor came after an image of the M6 Note leak showing the device running the CPU-Z application. The app serves to show some characteristics about the hardware of the smartphone and pointed out that it will use the MediaTek MT6757, also known as Helio P20. This ensures that it will have eight processing cores and clock at 2.39 GHz. In addition, the GPU will be the Mali-T880.
Unfortunately it is not yet known when Meizu intends to announce this new smartphone, but it is believed that this will happen in the coming weeks. In addition, with the arrival of IFA 2017 in early September, it is possible that the Chinese company opted to reveal this new phablet at the event.
