With Microsoft’s apparent withdrawal from the mobile industry, many rumors have begun circulating on the web about the future of its mobile platform. From a possible complete reboot of the system until the arrival of a possible Surface Phone in 2018. Now is a new leak, apparently accidental, that may have revealed more details about one of the most eager gadgets by Windows Phone fans. In the text below, the device is cited as “Microsoft’s next foray into the mobile.”

Check out the original passage released in China:

“This is not just a portable terminal. B the EADO in Qualcomm®Snapdragon™ mobile platform, is the perfect balance between performance and power consumption, it is the extra power to increase productivity; The new “ON TABLE” projection feature via Continuum – sustainable for over an hour of desktop work – 185 degree support hinges, providing a comfortable experience; Equipped with the exclusive Surface Pen, key piece to use OneNote […] is not just a portable terminal, but a mobile work platform.”

The technology mentioned above suggests that we will see a mobile device with SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon – possibly 835 – defined not only as a traditional terminal but with extra functions as a screen projection function using the Continuum.

It appears that Surface Mobile will be able to run older Win32 programs if it runs an advanced version of Windows 10 – a fact that is coming closer to becoming reality thanks to the new system’s customizable interface – something that can be a differential especially in the corporate sector. The Surface Pen holder can also draw customers who missed the feature on the Lumias x50.

It remains to be seen if it will be enough to attract the attention of ordinary users – the main segment that has moved away from the platform by migrating to Android or iOS – or whether it will be more of a novelty for the business world.
