Many may recall the HTC One (or One M7) smartphone launched in early 2013 that marked the arrival of a new line of handsets for the Taiwanese company. Since then we have seen several very interesting smartphones in this line, such as the HTC 10 (or One M10). Now, HTC has launched a new promotion to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in the United States that will provide a One M7 covered in 24k gold.
To participate in the promotion you must be a resident of the United States and be over 18 years old, and sign up for a list of HTC that can be accessed here. Users interested in participating in the promotion need to register until March 17, 2017, while the winner will be revealed in a few days, at a date yet to be defined.
The smartphone, the One M7, will have as its main differential the body plated in 24 carat gold and will not have any differences in specifications. This means that it will use the same Snapdragon 600 chipset and 2 GB of RAM. Despite being a fairly old handset, it can serve well to carry out the day-to-day functions.
- 7-inch screen with Full HD resolution (1080 x 1920)
- Snapdragon 600 chipset with four processing cores
- Adreno 320 GPU
- 2 GB of RAM
- 64 GB internal storage
- 4 megapixel main camera
- 1 megapixel front camera
- NFC and Bluetooth 4.0
- 2,300 mAh battery
- Android 5 Lollipop
For those who are looking for a latest smartphone, HTC even launched last year the HTC 10, which is currently one of the most powerful handsets of the brand. In addition to it, there is also the forecast to launch the HTC 11, which may come on the market with Snapdragon 835 and 8 GB of RAM.
