Black Friday and Cyber Monday may have come to an end, but the deals happening throughout the rest of the year absolutely refuse to stop. Best Buy themselves decided to launch something called “12 Days of Gaming,” where every day they would highlight and discount a new item relevant to their gaming interests. According to the Page 12 Days of Gamesand they will highlight “a variety of genres for Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch, as well as other gaming elements.”
12 Days of Play: Elgato HD60 external capture card for $149
If you’re looking for a way to capture video, whether it’s on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, or anything else that uses an HDMI input, this is a great way to do it. I’ve used an Elgato capture card myself when recording game footage for reviews, previews, capturing gameplay, and all that. Although I largely used an internal card, the great thing about external capture cards is that you can use them with laptops, which makes it really easy and simple to capture on multiple computers without having to purchase more than one card.
Cards like this also work very well for streaming, letting you plug in a Switch, Analogue Pocket, or something else and share your favorite games with your audience. While other cards can capture it, this particular card can capture it at 1080p and 60fps, even while capturing HDR10.
Make sure to come back every day to find more gaming deals as the 12-day event runs through December 9th.
