[جبال التسوق]How comfortable would you be if you replaced your old Mac with the M1 MacBook Pro? Photo professionals compare them to watching on PC

I’ve been in charge of photography for PC magazines since the inception of PCs, and I’ve been dealing with digitization from an early stage among photographers. The first laptop I bought for work was the VAIO-505, which had a better design than the other companies, so I loved it and bought four in a row.

Eventually, digital single-lens reflex (SLR) cameras became connected directly to laptop computers, and captured images were instantly transferred to a computer for viewing on a large computer screen. It’s becoming more and more important in the field, such as having the customer check photos taken on the spot and make simple photo corrections.

However, when the manufacturer is present for the advertising planning, the use of a competing product does not make a good impression to the other party. So, at that time, there was a strong trend that creators including cameramen = Macs, so I started using not so cute Macs.

Until I switched to the M1 Max-equipped MacBook Pro, I was using a 13-inch Core i7-equipped MacBook Pro that I bought in December 2016. However, when it came to gamers for five years, the weakness was noticeable, and the inefficiency was when processing increased Photos in the field and the weight of Adobe Premiere Pro used for video editing is stressful. Plus, since about last year I’ve been tempted to run into issues like not being able to connect to the camera via Wi-Fi, so I decided to buy the M1 version of the MacBook Pro, which was talked about quick and easy.

Here, I’d like to show you how the M1 version of the MacBook Pro makes a big difference to your photography business.

Compare the picture quality of your old MacBook Pro and the screen

Mac screens have always been said to be beautiful and used by many video professionals. However, when I’ve been evaluating the image quality of different monitors in the past, when I checked the uneven hue and brightness, it looked nice, but honestly that’s not the highest level of quality.ricefield.

In fact, I wasn’t able to adjust the image quality on the Intel MacBook Pro display I was using yet, so I made the final adjustments with EIZO’s Color Edge.

However, when I reviewed the M1 version of the MacBook Pro I bought this time, I found that the gradation in the dark and bright areas was very good.

The next result, the left Intel MacBook Pro version screen, and the M1 MacBook Pro version screen on the right. Please note that the Intel version of the MacBook Pro may not have the best performance since it was purchased, as it has been used for a long time.

It’s hard to see through the pictures, but when you look side by side already, you can see the color gamut up to (10.10.10) in RGB in the dark part of the M1 MacBook Pro version, but you can hardly understand (20, 20, 20) in Intel MacBook Pro Edition. In both bright areas, the gradient remains to the end. The Intel version of the MacBook Pro appears to have a larger drop in hue than the middle.

Then I rendered (150,150,150) RGB gray and the camera was shot with the daylight setting (5650 K). As you can see, the M1 version of the MacBook Pro (right) is more Y-friendly but even grey. In comparison, the Intel version of the MacBook Pro (left) has a strong B and swings to a C. When I put them side by side, the colors are very different.

The brightness of the image above has been changed to grayscale. I tried to make it contrast sharply with the tone curve. This makes even the slightest discrepancy appear larger. As you can see, the variation of the Intel version of the MacBook Pro is terrible. Compared to this, it can be seen that the M1 MacBook Pro version differential is a slight high-performance display even in high contrast.

Image quality on the M1 version of the MacBook Pro was “Liquid Retina XDR. Best display in the history of laptops” written on the Mac homepage, so results were better than expected with lower color tones, saturation, and contrast. Even if the brightness is adjusted back and forth around a moderate brightness in the middle, the hue of the dark and bright areas is preserved.

Photo editing on a home or studio PC is the hardware-calibrated EIZO “Color Edge CS2740”, so there’s no problem with retouching in Photoshop, but considering working with Premiere Pro and different work efficiencies, the M1 effect is a great MacBook Pro .

M1 MacBook Pro has become an indispensable tool for photographers

The M1 MacBook Pro measures 14.2 inches, which is a bit heavier and a bit larger than the 13-inch Intel MacBook Pro, and it’s less portable, but that doesn’t matter! For photographers, the speed at which they can work without stress is better because it has an overwhelmingly high priority.

Given that Korona-k mode will become quieter and everyday life is able to easily fly around Japan and the world will return, the version of the M1 MacBook that can send better photo data instantly from the location. Pro is probably the best option at the moment. After purchasing the latest M1 MacBook Pro, I am convinced that the M1 MacBook Pro is no longer an indispensable tool for photographers to spend next to their cameras.
