[مراجعة]Never hurt yourself by removing the video card again. ROG CROSSHAIR X670E EXTREME is a great computer watch

This is what I’ve wanted for many years → PCIE SLOT Q-RELEASE

By the way, ROG CROSSHAIR X670E EXTREME is endless when it comes to features, but when I opened it up, I thought, “Oh!” RELEASE “was.

This circular pushbutton is “PCIE SLOT Q-RELEASE”

Needless to say, modern high-end video cards are getting bulky and heatsinks are getting heavier. Therefore, it is common to equip the back panel to prevent the video card board from deviating, but this back panel makes it difficult to access the PCI Express slot latch.

And if you leave the CPU cooler plugged in, it will become more difficult to access it. And if things continue like this, it’s not clear (latch won’t open), and I end up removing the CPU cooler and memory all at once. The only thing I want to remove is the video card.

The PCIE SLOT Q-RELEASE slot unlocks the video card by pressing the remote push button on the front of the motherboard as the wire pulls the latch down. That’s it, but you can easily remove the video card without removing any other parts.

Pushing the push button causes the wire to pull the latch down to unlock

It’s okay if you can’t reach the latch with a video card with a backplate like this. You can release it by placing your finger in a wide area

By the way, this function is currently implemented only in the top models of ROG CROSSHAIR and ROG STRIX. In other companies, GIGABYTE is installed as “PCIe EZ-Latch Plus” in the top model (the bottom model of GIGABYTE is “PCIe EZ-Latch” with a larger bump).

There are probably many self-made users who like new things and want to buy a new one every time a new video card appears, and the AMD platform tends to use sockets for a long time, and there is also a need to innovate the video card during that time. Being deaf, this would be a perfect gimmick for these users. Personally, I wish it had been implemented 10 years ago, but from now on, it’s a feature I’d like you to implement even on lower models.
